Ok so the first quarter was really not that bad in my mind. I thought we had alot of homework to start off with but it got alot better. I have learned that it takes more work then what you are assigned to do for homework. You need to not only do your homework but prepare for class. Like an example is when we were told to annotate something, you needed to read it and annotate it, but not only that you needed to understand the story and not some back groung details on it.

Another thing you needed to do was to make sure you are working on your ouside reading book. its a big deal, I waited until the last minute to start reading, and now it was coming to kill me. I am one of like 12 people in my class who hasnt read all of our book, and its kill all of our grades. but i got to go i have to keep reading.

OMG, I think the whole grade was arguing with me about how the TIGERS were going to win the Georgia game. HAHAHAHAHA I guess all of you are wrong, we got smoked. Thats what I thought. Its not that I dont like LSU, I do but I am tired of people thinking that LSU is the best time in the nation. They are not. To be honest to you I like Louisville the best. I hope they win the National Championship, but I no they are not going to.

Next weekend! Next weekend is going to be pretty fun. I have a golf tournament in Alexandra on Saturday and Sunday. But on Saturday I am coming back home to go to the Dunham Homecoming. It going to be pretty fun, i cant wait.

The HULK!!!!! I watched the Hulk last night. In my mind it was not the best movie I have ever seen. I thought it was really good until it got up to the point where the Hulk was fighting the other green lizard looking guy. At that point it got horrible. Like the first half of the movie could have won an award but the ending killed it. Like it was stupid.

I have been thinking about it and maybe if the city was attacked by like a monster of some form, that the Hulk could come through and kill it or something. I think the whole thought of two Hulks fighting killed the movie. I would have got like Gozilla to come through and let the Hulk and it battle or somthing like that. IDK it was just a horrible ending.

MAN i am tired of this Heart of Darkness book right now, it seems like we have been talking about it F-O-R-E-V-E-R. Buti thought it was a pretty good book to read. It grew on me, at first i thought it was going to be horrible, but it turned out alright. I thought the book was pretty racist. Like the setting being in Africa, in the Congo which is the Heart of Africa. Also all the workmen on the boat were black, the savages were black….like why couldnt there be White savages.

I think that HOD is racist, but at the time it was wrote, Joseph Conrad was not trying to be racist he just wrote what was going on. This book is about Conrads life is it not?? So how would it be racist if he was just writing about what was going on in his life during this trip of his????? It cant be!!!

So i think there are two ways of looking at this novel. If you look at if as if you were in there time period then it wouldnt be rasist. But if you look at in our time period then it can seem to be rasist.

I have this huge golf tournament coming up in like a week, in Oklahoma. It contains the best 30 junior golfs in the worlf from ages 12 to 18, and IM in it haha. I cant wait it should be fun!!

I was talking to the Louisville coach the other night and he we was tell me that the golf course is called karsten Creek and he says that it was rated in the top 15 hardest course in the United States. So I am really excited to see how i stack up in this tourney.

Yea so about the outside reading…..its still not going well. I have had so much to do this week, I have been way to busy to even think about reading. First I have had some much homwork and I had three test last week. Then I have this huge golf tournament coming up in Oklahoma. I mean I have so much to do.

One thing that is helping this reading situation is us not have to much homwork lately in English, that is awesome. Thank you very much Mrs. Duke. The book Hulla Baloo is pretty good I am not going to lie, I like it alot even thought I havent read it that much.

Ok so I am really happy to be alive right now…. Today I met Mr. Kurtz, I’d rather call him Mr. Koots, that man is crazy. Today while we were going to meet him we saw a ton of poles with savage head on them, unblievable, I think I only threw up twice…..I hate him.

While we were talking to Mr. Koots, Marlow was talking and saying that he was a “remarkable man”, for some reason I strongly disagree. I dont know what Marlow was thinking when he said that…..? but I know that he is DEAD wrong. The man hung native heads on pole for havens sake….tell me how that is remarkable. Then REMARKABLY Mr. Kurtz died, man was I happy that he didnt kill me and hang my head on a pole…..what a day…huh???
